From draft to Instagram in four steps
Connect Instagram
Go to Accounts, choose Instagram, and sign in with Instagram. The account must be a Business or Creator account.
Add photos or a video
Use one photo, a carousel of up to 10 photos and videos, or a single video that goes out as a Reel.
Write the caption
Up to 2,200 characters. Keep a different caption for TikTok or Facebook in the same draft if you need one.
Pick a time
Choose the date and time. Solnk publishes it to Instagram, and to any other networks you selected, at that moment.
What a scheduled Instagram post can include
These are the limits for posts published through Instagram’s API, which are stricter than posting in the app. Solnk checks them while you write.
Photos
Up to 10 per carousel, each up to 8 MB. Instagram’s API only accepts JPEG, so PNG and WebP files are converted to JPEG when published.
Video
A single video is published as a Reel, between 3 and 90 seconds. Videos can also be items in a carousel.
Caption
Up to 2,200 characters. Instagram does not accept text-only posts.
Account type
Business or Creator accounts only. Instagram does not let apps publish to personal accounts.
