How to Schedule Social Media Posts from Claude

Connect Solnk to Claude from the Connectors directory, then draft, schedule and check posts for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Bluesky and more without leaving the chat.

You can ask Claude to write a post, pick the accounts, set a time and check whether it went out, all in one chat. This guide walks through the setup with the Solnk connector and the first few prompts worth trying.

The setup takes a few minutes. There is no API key to copy: you add the connector from Claude's directory and approve access on a Solnk sign-in page.

What you need

  • A Claude account that can use connectors. Anthropic's connector documentation lists where connectors work (claude.ai, the desktop app, mobile and Claude Code).
  • A Solnk account with at least one social account connected. You can connect accounts at solnk.com first; Claude works with whatever is already linked there.

The Free Solnk plan works with Claude. Its normal limits still apply: 3 social accounts, 20 posts per month and 1 GB of media. Connecting X and creating REST API keys need a paid plan. Every post Claude creates counts against the same monthly allowance as posts you create in the dashboard, and that includes drafts, even though a draft is not published or sent for approval until you confirm it. If you only have 20 on the Free plan, ask for one draft at a time instead of generating a week of options.

Step 1: Add Solnk to Claude

  1. In Claude, open Customize > Connectors.
  2. Select Discover and search for Solnk. You can also open the listing directly: claude.ai/directory/solnk.
  3. Select Connect to Claude.
  4. Sign in to Solnk when the page opens, review what Claude is asking for, and select Allow access.

When you land back on the Connectors page, Solnk is listed as Connected.

The listing carries a Community label. In Anthropic's terms, that means the connector was screened before listing but has not been reviewed in depth. Only connect services you trust, and keep the tool permissions below in mind.

Step 2: Turn it on in a chat

Connectors are switched on per conversation. In the message box, select +, choose Connectors, and make sure the Solnk toggle is on.

When Claude wants to use a tool, it can ask first. Choose Allow once to approve that call, or Always allow to skip the prompt for that tool. You can change this later under Tool permissions on the connector's page, where each tool can be set to always allow, needs approval, or blocked.

A sensible split: allow the read tools (usage, accounts, delivery status, and analytics on paid plans) without asking, and keep anything that publishes or changes a post on Needs approval. Solnk marks its publishing and editing tools so that Claude asks before running them.

Step 3: Try these prompts

Start by checking that Claude can see your setup.

What is my Solnk plan and how many posts have I used this month?

List my connected social accounts.

Then ask for a draft. Say "draft" explicitly: Claude can also schedule or publish straight away, and a draft is the step where nothing goes out yet.

Write a short post about our new pricing page and save it as a draft for my LinkedIn and Bluesky accounts.

Review the draft, ask for edits in the chat, and when you are happy, schedule it.

Make the Bluesky version shorter, then schedule both for tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. Pacific.

Claude stores the time in UTC, so ask it to repeat the scheduled time back in your own time zone before you move on.

If you would rather publish the draft right away instead of scheduling it, say so explicitly. Confirming a draft sends it to every account on it, so remove any account you don't want first.

Remove LinkedIn from that draft and publish it to Bluesky now.

Afterwards, ask what happened.

Did that post go out on every account? Give me the links.

Claude reads the delivery status per account, so a failed target is easy to spot. If an account failed, Claude can retry the failed targets without re-posting to the accounts that already worked.

How the draft and confirm flow works

Under the hood, Claude creates the post in one of three modes: draft (staged for review), scheduled (with a date and time), or immediate. A draft is confirmed in a second step, either to publish now or at a scheduled time; you confirm it by telling Claude in the chat.

Before you confirm a draft, you can edit the copy or the target accounts, or cancel it.

A scheduled post that has not gone out yet can still be edited, moved to a new time, moved back to a draft, or cancelled.

Once a post has gone out, Claude can no longer edit it.

You can also ask Claude to attach media. It can import an image from a public URL or use files you already uploaded to Solnk, and it can list your media library.

Keeping a human in the loop

An assistant that can publish should not publish unsupervised by default. A few habits keep this safe:

  • Ask for drafts first and schedule only after you have read them.
  • Leave publishing tools on Needs approval in Claude's tool permissions.
  • On a team, turn on approvals in Solnk so a member's post waits for an owner or admin to approve it. Approvals apply to members, so a post made while Claude is connected as an owner or admin skips the approval queue. Team approvals need the team owner on Pro or Premium. Drafts never enter the queue; they are reviewed when you confirm them.
  • Check the delivery status after anything goes live.

Troubleshooting

The connector shows Reconnect. Select it and sign in to Solnk again. Claude shows this when it has lost access to the service, for example when the sign-in has expired.

Claude says a post limit was reached. The Free plan includes 20 posts per month. Check your usage with the first prompt above, or see the plans.

Claude says your X account isn't available. Connecting and posting to X needs a paid plan.

A platform will not accept the post. Every network has its own rules for media, length and titles, so a post can succeed on one account and fail on another. Ask Claude for the status per account and what the error says.

You use Claude Code or another MCP client. Connectors you add in claude.ai are also available in Claude Code when you sign in with the same Claude account. For other clients and manual configuration, see the Solnk MCP page.

FAQ

Do I need an API key? No. The connector uses OAuth, so you sign in and approve access instead of pasting a key. REST API keys are a separate paid feature for people building their own integrations.

Which platforms can I post to? Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, YouTube, Threads, Pinterest and Bluesky. Connecting X requires a paid plan.

Can I disconnect it? Yes. Open the connector on Customize > Connectors and select Disconnect, or remove it from your account there.

Is it free? Using the connector is included on every Solnk plan, within your plan's limits. See pricing for what each plan includes.

If you do not have a Solnk account yet, you can start free and connect your first social account before adding the connector in Claude.
