# X / Twitter Video Downloader

## What it does

- Accepts public x.com and twitter.com status URLs.
- Lists the MP4 qualities returned for the public post.
- Can list an animated-GIF post when X exposes it as an MP4 variant.
- Does not require an X or Solnk sign-in.

## Limits and interpretation

- Protected, private, deleted, age-restricted, or otherwise unavailable posts may not work.
- The available qualities depend on the source post; Solnk does not promise a fixed resolution.
- The tool does not transcode a post or guarantee that every public post exposes a retrievable file.
- No Solnk watermark is added, but logos or text already embedded in the source remain.
- Download only media you own or are authorized to save and reuse.
